O cenário é exuberante, verde, privado, tranquilo, muito isolado, e ainda assim a apenas uma quadra da praia e uma caminhada de cinco minutos para a cidade. Um local ideal.
Maluhia Hanalei é uma casa unifamiliar que irá acomodar até 10 convidados. Grupos de até 6 pode alugar o quarto espaçoso três, dois banheiros, parte principal no andar de cima da casa. Há também um lindo apartamento nível do jardim com mais dois quartos, sala, cozinha completa e banheiro completo para um adicional de até 4 pessoas. Isto pode ser alugado separadamente ou com o resto da casa.
A casa está muito bem decorados e equipados. Os grupos maiores vai descobrir que toda a casa combina para fazer uma casa de férias ideal para até 10. As suites individuais dar os grupos menores dentro dos grandes um seus próprios espaços separados e o andar de cima tem um muito aberto, piso plano espaçoso, com espaço de sobra para que todos se reúnem para as refeições e visitar.

We. Have just spent 7 nights there from Australia for our Sons wedding, we just had the best time, we booked the entire house with 12 of us. We stayed here with our family of 9 adults. We rented both floors of the house. It was the perfect location for our stay. We could walk to the beach, we could walk to the town of Hanalei. It was a very relaxing location. The beach amenities were plentiful. The kitchen was also well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc.
We did notice that a lot of the paperwork mentioned respecting the quiet hours in the neighborhood and we discovered why, the rental house next to us were some late night loud talkers. And one of the nights the police were call on them to quiet them down. Due to thin walls and open windows sound travels very well here. This did not ruin our stay, as we enjoyed hangout on the lanai and spending time at the beach. And none of us our late night people.
This house was a great mix for private & public areas for a family reunion with 11 people ranging in ages from 2 through 70+. We were able to all sit around the dining table, make food, and hang out. The location was perfect: easy walk to Hanalei Beach and Hanalei town. It's in a cul-de-sac so it's quiet and private. It was also an easy drive to many farmers' markets, hiking trails, and other fun touristy spots.
This place comes with a TON of beach gear: towels, chairs, beach umbrellas, toys, boogie boards, even snorkeling gear! No need to buy or bring your own. And you definitely need the beach umbrellas--in the winter, it rains for a small portion each day. Not long, but heavy enough that you will regret not having an umbrella with you. Even when you walk to town, you will want to bring an umbrella--and they have those kinds too!
We were pleased to find that the kitchen was well stocked. It already had salt, pepper, and many kinds of spices. The pantry/refrigerator had teriyaki sauce, tamari sauce, and other more unusual dressings. There were enough knives and cutting boards, a slow cooker and blender, and a great gas grill downstairs.
As one reviewer mentioned, the walls are pretty thin. This means that you will hear the roosters crowing at 3AM, but after the first night, I guess we got used to it. But if you have a family and are staying for a while (we were there for 10 nights) I can't think of a better place to stay. The main floor (3 bedrooms) had extra foam mattresses and sheets, a pack n play, a high chair, toys, and picture books if you are coming with small children. There were DVD's as well, though we didn't really watch anything--too many other things to do in Hawaii with family!
The property was clean and well stocked. You will be staying in a fairly wet, rainy, warm area so be prepared for bugs--odorous ants, a couple cockroaches, mosquitos...we encountered these in this home, but that's more about the locale than this property. Overall, we were pleased to be there and wish we could stay in Hawaii longer!
My husband & I brought our 2 kids, their spouses & our 3 little granddaughters to stay here for a week. It is a wonderful place for a family vacation. We rented the 3 bedroom upstairs unit & the studio unit downstairs for ourselves. It is a nicely furnished, fully equipped house with new carpeting. The amenities are perfect & there was more than we expected: crib, toys for kids, games & books for kids & adults, boogie boards, beach chairs & towels, condiments. It is on a quiet residential street within easy walking distance to town & the beach @ Hanalei Bay. We would definitely Stay here again & highly recommend it.
We - agroup of 10 friends between 50 and 60 years old - spent 5 days. It was our first stay at Hawaii and Kauai. We did like the character of the wooden house. Positive: Comfortable kitchen, gorgeous green garden, not far to the beach, quiet environment (if we neglect the chicken and cocks...), well equipped with beach equipment, two washing machines and dryers, new barbecue. To improve: Some of the bedrooms have not much daylight, please start redecoration of some rooms, paper thin walls.
We spent a glorious week here in February. This is the perfect house for family vacation.
We had 13 people...including 3 grandchildren under the age of 8. We rented the upstairs and downstairs. I can say enough good things. The house is beautiful.It is on a quiet street .
It is a short walk to the beach AND a short walk to town. Perfect for everyone to do their own thing if not enough cars to go around. The house was well stocked with beach supplies etc..
Marney is wonderful...so helpful. If you want to be in Hanalei (and who wouldn't),this is the place to be.
