Come create your dream vacation in our luxury waterfront home. Perfect for reunions, family gatherings, fishing excursions and enjoying the great outdoors. Boat rental is available at nearby marinas. The home has nearly 3800sf of living space. The main floor includes a spacious fully equipped kitchen, large family room with dual gas fireplace, [available November - March] and dining room. Also located on the main floor are one Master bedroom with onsuite, one guest bedroom and one full bath. Laundry room, screened in porch and large deck also on main floor.
The second floor includes loft, two guest bedrooms, full bath, kids' theater room/ game room and man cave.

Ahhhhhh - Sunset Cove at Kerr Lake

We really like staying at this house - it invites us in and says, "stay awhile." We like to gather to sit in the comfy great room/kitchen or outside on the porch and deck. We eat or play games around the dining table inside or at the tables in the screened porch. But there is plenty of space in the house to find a quiet nook to draw, read, watch a show, or play a game by yourself. There is also a hot tub on the deck if you really want to relax. The kitchen is outfitted with all sorts of cooking utensils and pots and pans to cook up dinners or just make sandwiches. We used one of the 2 fridges for beverages and the other for food. One night dessert was marshmallows roasted at the fire pit adjacent to the deck! We also enjoyed hamburgers cooked on the large grill on the deck. Some of the underbrush in the woods between the house and the lake had been removed since we were there last year making it even more pleasant to stroll or ride the golfcart down to the beach and pier. The view was very pretty and the quiet was wonderful. We kayaked (there are 2 kayaks in the garage) and had a wonderful time exploring the cove and beyond. The fishing was not the best this year - no fault of Sunset Cove. Our grandkids loved being bounced on our raft behind our boat - our raft is a little smaller than the one that stays at the house. This was our fifth consecutive year at Sunset Cove, and we are looking forward to returning!

Lakehouse vacation - Retirement celebration

This house was very clean and made us all feel very comfortable. The lake access was perfect. The use of the golf cart was a plus. We will definitely consider this house again for our next vacation! Thanks again Loretta!

Fun weekend

The house is very nice - large and airy. The dock at the lake is awesome and it was very convenient to rent a boat from the local marina for the weekend. The golf cart made it easy to transport floats, etc down to the dock to put on the boat. Having two refrigerator/freezers was a big help as well. Loretta, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and extremely nice.

Second year of our extended family lake trip!

A little slice of heaven for sure! Property is amazing - tons of room to spread out and everything you could dream of is there!:) The golf cart was such a wonderful extra and we enjoyed the kayaks as well!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous home again!

Water activities. Making memories.
While this property is large enough to house large groups or family. I love most bringing people together. To get away from the hustle of everyday life. To be reminded to slow down, enjoy life. Take a walk down the relaxing nature trail or path to the water. To just stop and see the beauty that we are surrounded by. Enjoy the rising of the sun and the setting. It is in these quiet times that we are renewed. Stand on the shoreline and take in the beauty of Kerr Lake, which can be at times lots of different boats, jet skis and other water sports. At other times it can be still, and it is in those quiet times that we can gain strength and be re-newed. The sunset over Kerr Lake is magnificent. We can sit around a campfire, and enjoy a glass of wine, discuss our day, catch up with family and friends. We can sit quietly and just listen to the sound of the tides rolling in and back into the lake. Boat rental is available at nearby marinas. Lake life is great!
