This is a higher floor studio with a beautiful OCEAN view at Waikiki Marina Condo Hotel. You can slide the window open to enjoy the view, or leave it closed and turn on the A/C. It is within walking distance to beaches (Ala Moana Beach & Waikiki Beach), Hilton Lagoon, Ala Moana Shopping Center (largest shopping mall), various shops, restaurants, Consolidated Theatres Ward with Titan Luxe, and Magic Island Park. You can also view fireworks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel every Friday night!!!

Neighborhood:

The studio is located in beautiful Waikiki, and it is near Ala Moana Shopping Center, Ala Moana Beach, Waikiki Beach, Magic Island Park, the marina, the Hawaii Convention Center, Kaka’ako, Ward Village, and the Consolidated Ward Theatres w/Titan Deluxe. It is across the street from the Hawaii Prince Hotel, and near the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort and the Hilton Lagoon. You will have a beautiful view of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort fireworks that are shown every Friday night!!!

There are many restaurants within walking distance, including at Ala Moana Shopping Center, which is the largest mall in Oahu. Across the street from the condo, there is a Red Lobster, an Outback Steakhouse, 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar at the Hawaii Prince Hotel ($49 for buffet dinner), The Chart House, Hilton restaurants, Harbor Pub, and other restaurants and bars.

Down the street, there is a McDonald’s, a Subway, Aloha Sushi, Bombay Palace Hawaii (Indian), Buffalo Wild Wings, IHOP, Wailana Coffee House, Makino’s seafood buffet, a BBQ restaurant, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Tony Roma’s, and many other restaurants and bars within walking distance.

There are also numerous places to shop, including at Ala Moana Shopping Center and throughout Waikiki. You can also buy groceries at Foodland, which is located in the mall. There is also an ABC store at the corner which is like a 7-Eleven, and it is open 24 hours a day.

Magic Island Park is a popular place to take a stroll, jog, ride your bicycle, rollerblade, go swimming, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, or parasailing. Many local people have barbecues there in the weekends and on holidays. It has a beautiful scenery, and you can also watch the sunset from there as well.

Waikiki Beach is a popular place where tourists go to swim in the ocean and get their vacation tan. You can also rent surfboards, get surfing lessons, and even ride a catamaran there!

If you have a 24 Hour Fitness membership, there is one on Kapiolani Blvd. that is not too far from the condo. It is a Super Sport Gym, and it has a basketball court, a racquetball court, aerobics classes, various exercise machines, and weights. It also provides you with towels.


Getting Around:

• Rental car companies within walking distance: Enterprise, Hertz, Dollar, Alamo, Paradise, and Adventure On 2 Wheels
• Taxi, Uber, or Lyft
• Close to bus stops
• Trolleys at Ala Moana Shopping Center are free
• Biki bicycle rentals at entrance of Ala Moana Beach Park and within walking distance
• Walk: You really don’t need a car to get around Waikiki, Ala Moana, and Kaka’ako. You only need one if you plan on driving around the island or to visit places that are far away. You could also catch the bus for this, although it may take hours.


*The two elevators are being modernized, so there may be only one elevator working at times, which may cause a little longer waiting time. Management informed me that both elevators should be running from May through July, but I wanted to put this disclaimer here. For this reason, there is currently a 10 - 15% discount on the nightly rate for the possible inconvenience.
