Dinan stay

Quirky and unusual property,perfectly situated for enjoying Dinan. Having the parking close by is a a real bonus. We thought the church bells might be a problem but quite the opposite. We will miss them!!

Cet appartement est idéalement situé à Dinan sur la Place St Sauveur qui est très agréable. Le parking mis à disposition est appréciable même s'il n'est pas au pied de l'immeuble, et il n'est pas toujours aisé d'y trouver une place, même avec la carte abonné. La literie est de bonne qualité, c'est un très bon point, et le linge de lit et de maison fourni. L'intérieur est charmant, en revanche, je déplore le fait de n'avoir pas été suffisamment bien renseignée sur les deux étages à monter avec un escalier très escarpé. Certes, il n'est pas accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite comme mentionné dans l'annonce, mais l'est difficilement aussi pour les personnes d'un certain âge et quand on a des bagages à monter. J'en viens aux points très négatifs : Un manque de propreté de l'appartement. J'ai payé 40 € pour le ménage, je ne sais pas si les personnes avant moi avaient fait de même, mais en tout cas, le ménage n'était pas fait à mon arrivée. Dans l'annonce est avancé le fait qu'il y ait une connexion Internet de qualité, ce qui est faut, très mauvais réseau et la télévision par internet est inregardable, image figée ou pixelisée, pas de son, etc etc. Puis une plaque vitrocéramique à la cuisine, trop de temps pour faire cuire quoi que se soit ! Bref un avis plutôt mitigé sur cet appartement où je n'aurai pas passé une semaine.

In the heart of the old town

The apartment is situated in the very heart of the old town of Dinan and has reserved parking just a stone's throw away. It is possible to park outside the apartment for the few minutes it takes to unload your luggage but finding out how to get there can be a bit problematical due to some streets being randomly closed. It is best to approach things from the Port Dinan side of the old town. Olga, who handled the check in was charming and very helpful, though you will need reasonable French to get the best of things. The apartment is in a very old building and comes with the quirks one would expect but that adds to the charm. It is comfortable for two couples and has all the amenities one needs. Dinan itself did not disappoint with plenty to see and do, not just in the old town (which is beautiful) but also Port Dinan and the wider town itself.
