Happy days! Lovely stay

We have just returned from 9 days in Can Reig. All accommodation is on the ground floor and the villa sits in its own enclosed garden which also includes the lovely 10m by 5m private pool – during our stay this was always at a very pleasant temperature.

The owners, who visited us on the morning after we arrived, could not have been more helpful. For example, on bumping into them at the Pollenca market a couple of hours after their introductory visit, we mentioned that the coffee machine seemed faulty, but that we were able to manage. On arrival back at the villa an hour later, we found a new coffee maker on the patio table! Their prompt response was really appreciated.

The villa is accessed via its own 70m. drive and is located about 200 yards from Lidl and Esqui supermarkets, with bus stops nearby if required. Although situated on the main road from Pollenca to Porto Pollenca we did not find the traffic noise intrusive; at times, with some imagination, some sounds could have been the swish of waves on the beach! Sitting by the pool to eat a meal cooked on the BBQ was very relaxing as dusk came and small birds put on their nightly display above the pool.

We would thoroughly recommend this delightful villa; it is clean, well maintained, perfect for 2 people and very well equipped with all that would be required for a holiday home.

Good value, really great pool but disappointing inside the house

This is an interesting property for people who want to be within a walk (c. 35 minutes) of Pollensa where the restaurants are many and can be excellent. The pool is a good size (10 x 5m), quite private and also has the built-in BBQ beside it. As pools go this is very good for price, however you do need to watch out for mosquitoes. Inside the small house, the facilities are though very basic. The double mattress is rock hard, lighting in the kitchen is poor and the sitting room tiny. The TV does work with basic satellite channels such as BBC World and CNN, but at ceiling height you will crick your neck watching it. The WiFi works out to the pool area which is excellent, however streaming was not possible.

The two supermarkets in Pollensa and Outlet store for household stuff are all within walking distance, which might be very handy if you do not have a car.

If you want a holiday where you can live by the pool, not need much from the house, and also want to be able to walk to restaurants all without paying a fortune, then this property should be considered.

Cosy villa with stunning pool

Lovely villa with very private pool,

We had a wonderful holiday in this property. It’s ideal for a couple wanting a quiet getaway and yet only a five minute walk to two supermarkets and a restaurant.

The owners were fab, very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The villa was spotlessly clean, well maintained and although we only stayed 10 nights the bed linen and towels were changed half way through our stay. The villa is situated approx 70 metres from the main road but the noise was not at all bothersome, in fact I found it quite therapeutic listening to the swishing of the traffic. The air conditioning was a great asset. We didn’t use it during the day but at night we were extremely grateful for it.

The outside area directly outside the villa is lovely but we spent most of our time around the pool which was completely private. There is covered area and a brilliant BBQ. We spent most of our days and evenings here. It was perfect for me as you could find sun or shade all day long. The pool was very well looked after, it was even cleaned twice a week and was a credit to the owners. The light in the pool was great as this enabled you to have a swim after dark.

I would highly recommend this property and we are already planning our return.

Lovely villa and hosts

We had a great stay in Can Reig Villa - perfect size for two people, well equipped, lovely pool and convenient location for both pollensa and Puerto pollensa. The owners were very helpful and accommodating throughout the booking process, and we would happily recommend the villa to others.

NICE VLLA

Situaded approximately 70 metres from the road, noise level does not keep you awake at night.

Very nice villa, with a modern kitchen/diner. Compact sitting room. The bedroom has plenty of storage space and the adjoining bathroom is large, clean and modern.

The recently installed air conditioning /heating units were a definite plus worked very well.

The outside space is viery nice, the swimming pool área is surrounded by lovely gardens. Its has a BBQ área with plenty of choice for sitting. Outside the main entrance is also a covered terrace which we found useful for breakfast.

We stayed for 8 nights and had towels changed once and the villa was also cleaned.

The supermarket was a 5 minute walk away and so was one of the restaurants we frequented, there were some nice restaurants up in the old town. We did leave cards for these in blue book provided.

The house also has wifi.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and have no problem in recommending it.
