We are happy to report that we have taken additional safety measures for our guests to book with confidence. Dee Dee Villa is private, safe, gated, properly cleaned, and we can provide contactless check in. If you wish to have assistance with groceries and supplies we can arrange this with you. We are here to assist you for the best, carefree Barbados experience! Tap into our Bajan experience and thoroughly enjoy the Island!

This comfortable, self-catering 2 bedroom ground level apartment is set amid a tropical garden in a quiet location on the west coast. We are close to Royal Westmoreland, Folkstone Marine Park & Beach, and a quick drive to fabulous Holetown! The apartment is bright and airy with colourful fabrics, comfortable furniture, and breezy tradewinds or air conditioning for a cooling breeze. There is a very well equipped kitchen so you can rustle up anything from freshly caught fish to a rum punch for sun downers. Enjoy watching humming birds feeding among the Bouganvillia and monkeys scampering up trees as you relax under the breezeway. Watch the most fantastic sunsets. All linen, bathroom and beach towels included, and more. This apartment is designed to take advantage of the Caribbean climate with open areas and opening shutters however ductless air conditioning is installed for your comfort. If you need to keep in touch there is very good free wireless broadband access included, as well as FLOW TV for our guests.

Holetown offers another great beach, banking facilities, taxis, car rental, Internet cafe, Post Office, excellent supermarket, high end and tourist shops, as well as Bajan local shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment. It has become a hot spot on the island, while remaining casual, friendly and accessible. Elegant dining, Bajan, International, pizza and fast food are all available. Surf Side is a nearby popular beach bar that features Steel Pan nights. City buses are frequent, so if you decide not to rent a car there is no problem. To the north are art studios and popular Lime Grove with high-end stores, cafés, and a VIP cinema experience. A short walk along the beach is Folkstone Marine Park and beach (our favourite), which features a museum, tennis courts, picnic tables, children's playground, washrooms, 2 beach bars, outdoor shower and foot wash, a gorgeous beach, a beach walk sidewalk, lifeguards, and an excellent marked, self-guided snorkeling tour around the inshore reef. Sandy Lane and the Royal Westmoreland golf courses are also located in this parish of St. James.

A unique offering of this property: professional chef homeowner offers special meals or full menus for the duration of our guests stay, featuring their favourites and local Bajan specialties (additional fees apply, please contact for details). In addition, grocery and transportation services can be arranged for our guests for a fee. Also offered are airport transfers, arrangements for rental cars (delivered to the villa driveway!), takeaway beach picnics, rum punch and fish cake sundowners, beach drop offs, grocery runs, short tours, and more for a very reasonable fee.

Clean, comfortable and convenient location
My wife and I stayed at DEE DEE Villa for 15 nights in March 2024 and found the place to be clean, quiet and convenient. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the Owner's home. The kitchen has everything required for meal preparation and there are dining area inside as well as outside. The Owner is very proud the property which can easily be seen in how clean and tidy he keeps it. He is also very friendly and willing to assist his quests enjoy their time in Barbados. Everything you need (beach, swimming, water sports shopping, etc.) is easily available a mere 2.5 km away.

Excellent personal service during one week stay
Liv was a wonderful host, always available to provide information or greet us in the morning. We ended up renting a car to get from the airport to his property, instead of having him pick us up, and his directions are spot on, but it doesn't hurt to have a GPS capability on a phone or in the car as many (most?) roads are poorly marked. Especially around rush hour there is a lot of traffic, the roads can be narrow and potholed, and you drive on the left, but It is just a few minutes to several beaches by car and there is a large Massey's supermarket in Holetown that has most everything. Many restaurants also in Holetown, and we bought fresh fish at the Speightown Fish Market, near the head of the pier. Kitchen has just about everything you would need if you want to cook, Liv is pretty good at it too, if you'd like him to cook for you. It was challenging to get into and out of the parking place even with our rented Toyota Yaris. We settled on backing up from the street, and make it a wide turn into the parking spot so you can get out later more easily. There is air conditioning that we ended up using when we were home. The apartment is on the ground level, so it just doesn't get the breeze Liv has upstairs. This is a nice place to stay, definitely different than the more traditional hotel or fancy rental home, but with a car or using the local bus, you'll get a nice feel for Barbados and how people live there.

Real home away from home
We had stayed two weeks at Levy's wonderful villa and we have only positive and beautiful comment to provide towards Levy's attitude and location/settings of Great Dee Dee Villa! We were absolutely home away from home, made our vacation smooth, relaxing and beautiful!!! The apartment was clean, everything you need was there and on top you would have very attentive host, willing to help you anytime and provide vast of local knowledge, experience and when need it - Great Rum Punch ;-)!

Wonderful
Great idea to have Livi pick us up at Airport, 45 mins later we were in our apartment and drinking a beer. We had dinner that night and breakfast next morning. Livi is a fabulous cook and great host. We had a couple more dinners and next time will have at least every other day. Livi arranged an excellent and inexpensive car rental. We are already looking to book again with Livi for next year. Car (very convenient) and accommodation cost less than staying close to the beach.
