Milin Nevez (in Breton "the new mill") is an old windmill converted into a second home. It is proudly on its hill to the southwest of the island of Batz. Located in northern Finistère, opposite Roscoff, in the country of Leon, Batz Island is part of the Ponant Islands. All kinds of activities conducted there for healthy family holidays, couples or friends.
Winter or summer, Milin Nevez welcomes up to 6 people for iodine parenthesis in the great outdoors, reserved for beautiful nature lovers, lovers of authentic atmosphere.
OUTSIDE: The mill is set in a beautiful garden of 3,000 square meters, located in natural area. From every window of the house, the view is exceptional and the ground is the edge of the moor along the seafront. We will walk in a few minutes on one of the beaches at Pors Retter Poull This horz, or further south to Farah Diba or Leien Pors. The lighthouse is a 5 minute walk, the village center and 10 minutes to the pier 15 minutes.
Milin Nevez offers a view of the sea, crystal clear light, always changing colors and memorable sunsets.
INTERIOR: The mill is an unusual and charming residence. It consists of a tower which houses two round pieces and kept the staircase of miller to high granite steps. The wall is nearly 1.20m thick, enough to be sheltered for centuries winter storms ...
The round room on the top floor offers breathtaking views of the Channel and the continent of Roscoff Santec. Home, small and cozy, has revolutionized the tradition of blind Breton gear and was pierced by two windows west to miss nothing of the daily spectacle of the sunset over the sea.
All the home side windows were renovated in 2015.

ILE DE BATZ: 15 minutes by boat from Roscoff, lies the island of Batz (pronounced BA). It is a jewel that has kept its soul of marine and agricultural land. The island measures 3.5 km by 1.5 km and offers more than 14 km of coasts bordered of many fine sand beaches. Bathed by a micro-climate, the island of Batz has a flora and fauna and a very rich preserved natural heritage. It offers authentic and natural attractions like the exotic garden Georges Delaselle, beautiful white sandy beaches, with pebbles, paths everywhere for pleasant discoveries on foot or bicycle, the ruins of the Chapel of St. Anne, waves exploding at Toul Ar sarpent, and climb the lighthouse after the effort that offers stunning views of the surrounding area.
This little green gem offers a wide variety of landscapes on a very small surface: beyond the white sand dunes and beaches are pebbly areas, cliffs and swampy wetlands. The island of Batz knew to preserve the true spirit of the island of fishermen and farmers who live here all year round.
