Historic condo with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a view from the 4th floor walkway.

Historic condo located in the Arts / Warehouse District of New Orleans with wrap around balcony. The perfect location for St. Charles Ave. / Uptown Route parades during Carnival Season. A quick walk to Superdome, Smoothie King Center Arena or Convention Center for our beloved Saints football, NBA Pelican Basketball team and so many concerts and events, as well as conventions, trade shows and expos.

The Space:
Discover the allure of this exquisite 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condominium, boasting a captivating blend of historic charm and modern comforts. Nestled in the heart of New Orleans, this residence features an open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen, adorned with original brick walls that exude the city's distinctive character. The outdoor walkway with sitting area offers a picturesque view, creating a perfect setting for relaxation.

Immerse yourself in the ambiance of high ceilings, tall baseboards, and an original non-working fireplace, complemented by stainless steel appliances including a gas stove, side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, and a convenient full-size front-loading washer and dryer neatly stacked in the hallway closet.

The condo hosts a master suite with a private bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo and king bed, and a second bedroom with a queen bed and a separate hallway bathroom with a step-in shower. Privacy is ensured by closing the hallway door, creating an exclusive retreat for the guest bedroom.

Entertainment is at your fingertips with two TVs, each equipped with Roku streaming devices, set in guest mode for your personalized streaming preferences. Stay connected with high-speed WiFi, secured with a password for your peace of mind if work beckons during your visit.

To make you feel truly at home, we provide a thoughtful welcome with bottles of water and Gatorade to keep you hydrated in the vibrant New Orleans heat. Embrace the city's coffee culture with three packages of French Market Coffee, complete with filters for the drip coffee makers, and a fridge stocked with creamers.

For your convenience, we've included extra amenities such as trash bags, dishwasher tablets, Tide Pods, and fabric softener sheets under the kitchen sink, ensuring a hassle-free stay. An elevator awaits within the building, but don't miss the chance to ascend the original grand staircase at the Julia Street entrance for a touch of historic elegance.

This property embodies the essence of New Orleans, with top-of-the-line features, spacious interiors ideal for entertaining, and a charming balcony. The location is unbeatable, offering proximity to Magazine Street shops, the Superdome, Convention Center, WWII Museum, and the French Quarter. Experience the city's unique charm and enjoy easy access to the St. Charles Mardi Gras Parade route.

Guest Access:
VacayNOLA has self Check In services. Our normal arrival time is after 3 PM CT and check out is before 11:00 AM CT.

Please plan your flights accordingly, as we cannot always allow for early check ins or late check outs. IF, we can allow for an Early Check In / Late Check Out, there are fees associated with this request to change the housekeeping schedules and door code times.

The Neighborhood:
Arts & Warehouse District - Arts District, an eclectic area of Art Galleries along Julia St and surroundings street. The building sits at the corner of Julia and St. Charles Ave, where we have so many restaurants, coffee shops, bar and grills, within a 4 block walk. The must visit World War II Museum is a mere 3 blocks away. A majority of the original warehouses that stored all the goods and merchandise off loaded from the Port of New Orleans Steamships have now been developed into residential housing.

Getting Around:
Walking is the best way to get around in the downtown New Orleans and when you get tired, rideshare (Uber/Lift/KrewCar) and taxi's are generally readily available. Or hop on one of our famous streetcars to see two major routes throughout the City. The St. Charles Ave. streetcars are Green and head away from downtown on St. Charles Ave. The Garden District, where you will see the beautifully maintained mansions, passing Loyola and Tulane Universities, Audubon Park, and the Audubon Zoo.
Red Streetcars travel along Canal Blvd. from the Mississippi River out to City Park. The streetcars are cash only, unless you buy a pass.

The Hop on Hop off tour busses circulate around some of the more popular areas of downtown and offer pickup every 30 minutes.
The Algiers Ferry is a fun way to get across the river. It runs from Canal street to Algiers throughout the day. Algiers is a small neighborhood and very walkable. Enjoy a quick bite to eat then just enjoy walking through the historic houses.

Bicycle rentals are is also a great way to get around and can be rented from various locations throughout downtown. There are bike rental options like Blue Bike with multiple locations throughout the city and also tour companies that have guided bike tours.

Other Things to Note:
We no longer accept American Express Credit Cards. This condo has no parking included. There are various public parking garages, lots and street parking available for a fee.

Non smoking property. Evidence of smoking will incur a fine.
No parties, or large gathering events allowed.
Only registered guests are allowed on the property.
Two pets are allowed in this condo, up to 25 lbs. each, with Veterinarian records on file with our office, prior to arrival.

Nice place, but had some difficulties
This place was nice, but the entrance was very difficult to find and the instructions were not clear. The entry was hidden. But, the host was very responsive and answered right away and helped us find the entrance. Also, the floors were not level at all; it was really odd. But overall, the place was nice.

Lovely home, great location!
From the top notch concierge service to the lovely home, the is the place to book! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this condo. The exposed brick inside the condo is great look. The beds are super comfortable. Don’t forget to eat a delicious po boy down at the Litte Easy!

Great condo on streetcar line
The pics were accurate and the place was so convenient. The St Charles Streetcar stops right outside. It is downtown, so expect traffic noise, but no more than I expected. There's a small bar downstairs, but never noisy and nice local place for a drink. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfectly location in the warehouse district
Although we’ve rented in NoLa many times before, this was the first in the warehouse district. Location was perfect for those who want to see the quarter and the garden district or Tulane. Property manager was super communicative, place was perfect, beds were comfy. Woukd rent again.

Great Neighborhood! Safe.
We had a wonderful time. Exposed brick walls. Clean. Great neighborhood. Easy walk to WW2 museum and French quarter. Check in and out was a breezy. We loved loved staying here.
