Breathtaking and exquisite sunset views of the Gulf of Mexico and direct access to miles of beautiful beaches can be enjoyed from your private back yard. This quaint ground level beach home has a newly renovated kitchen with all modern appliances, and the best view of the gulf on Manasota Key! When you’re looking for that perfect private beach getaway, this is the one! You’re invited to come and swim, surf, fish, paddle board, kayak, bike or simply relax. Enjoy perfect views of the the sunset from the comfortable air-conditioning of the large Florida room , or lounge on your very own beach front swing. This private home has a master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed that will lull you to sleep each night. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds sure to be a hit with the kids. A full bathroom is just steps away from each bedroom. The second bathroom has access directly from the yard, where you can rinse off the sand at the outside shower, then slip into the full bath without going through the house.
The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances, including stove, double oven and microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, and coffee pot. To cook or not to cook, it’s your decision, but you will have everything you need! The kitchen has a lovely granite bar top to relax and enjoy a snack or to serve a meal for the whole family, with views overlooking the waters of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Kitchen/dining area seats six comfortably. Our home includes a new high-efficiency washer and dryer for your convenience.
After that stroll on the beach collecting sharks teeth and sea shells , you return home coming up your private stairs directly onto the back yard only a few feet from the house. If you are feeling adventurous you can use the sea kayaks, or try the paddle board. Umbrella and beach chairs are also available.

Short 15 minute drive to the new Cool Today Park event facility including Braves Baseball, concerts, and sport tournaments.

Entire home is all on the ground level with NO STAIRS!

Charming private house on the beach.

We enjoyed our weeklong stay on Manasota key. This house was just right for our group. Everyone had their own room. Right on the beach with private yard and access. Truly special. Plenty of towels and chairs. The kitchen was well appointed. One of the 2 picture windows facing the ocean needs to be sealed. It fogs up.

Steps from the beach!

We booked this property with our friends and it was perfect! Close to lots of great restaurants and grocery stores. The host was very responsive on the one question we had. Would definitely stay again!

Closest to the tide you will ever stay

Great old florida beachfront ranch home. Closest to the ocean we have ever stayed. Private. Quirky, charming. I loved the private outdoor shower! The beautiful windows pictured in the listing need replacing, don't open and seals broken so fogged the stunning ocean view. Very nice covered patio, stayed 2 glorious weeks and ate every meal outside! Owners very responsive to concerns. Terrific, unique property with phenomenal gulf sunset views.

Great Spot

Right on the Gulf of Mexico with all the necessary amenities. Nice kitchen overlooking the sun room. An outdoor porch with table and chairs. A nice indoor sunroom/porch. Ample 3 bedrooms and bedding. Nice kitchen layout with all utensils and cooking stuff needed. The only negatives were the hot water in the ‘bath tub’ was intermittent and there was not enough toilet paper and paper towels to start out with. But who can beat a one minute walk to the beach!!

We first came to Manasota Key in the early 1990's and fell in love with this beach and this laid back little fishing town called Englewood. We spent countless hours collecting all sorts of sharks teeth and shells on the beach, watching dolphin from the shore , and even observing the sea turtles nesting and laying eggs at night. During "turtle season " we love to join the turtle patrols on the beach looking for tracks that come out of the water and then observing from a distance as the great turtles dig their nest and lay their eggs. If you are very lucky you might even catch the nest hatching and get to watch the babies find their way to the ocean! We fish on the beach catching flounder, whitefish, Spanish mackerel, snook, tarpon, pompano, among others. Sometimes we take a small catamaran and sail up and down the beach, occasionally having dolphin swim right with us for a time! We love the laid back feel of this town, and have always been delighted to find good quality food in the local hot spots. All in all Manasota key is a great island to visit
We live in northwest Georgia , about a 9 hour drive to our beach house! We spent 30 years searching for a place on the beach to call our own , looking at a lot of places closer to home but could never find just the right spot. We have been to a lot of beaches from South Carolina to the Alabama coast, to the Georgia coast and the Florida panhandle , all of which are a shorter drive for us and would be easier access, but nothing really said home to us. Then , a few years ago, we ventured again to Manasota Key, this time with our 3 grown children , and we knew this place had to be our home away from home. We all love to fish, scuba dive, kayak, paddle board, sail, motor boat, watch the gorgeous sunsets and fall asleep listening to the ocean waves. It has been our greatest joy to share this special place with family and close friends for the last few years, and now we look forward to sharing it with you!
