Wasn’t even the same place
The condos are really run down but inside they had it dressed up a little bit. It wasn’t the same place as the pictures. They had a rug that had dog pee stains on it that you could visually see and smell. I was grateful to bring my own pet. There was sand all in the floor but we expect that in Florida at a vacation house. We did pay a pet deposit which was fine but then they tried to get more money from us saying we violated the pet policy which we did not. My dog does shed a lot he’s a gsd so I offered to pay a little more towards cleaning. We did everything asked of us before check out only for them to say we left 1 wrapper and 1 empty drink bottle in the floor (I put it in the trash myself) and they tried to charge me an extra $200. On top of our $100 deposit. The way they do business is a little sketchy imo bc the pet deposit wasn’t mentioned until AFTER we booked and paid on a non refundable condo THEN they said no pets unless we paid the deposit and we couldn’t cancel. It was $100 so no biggie. The policy states if we didn’t do the things expected it was 150 extra. We did everything but like I said bc our dog sheds a lot I said I’d happily pay the additional $50 and they could keep our deposit. Also the air conditioning unit was leaking all in the floor luckily my husband knew how to quickly fix that. It’s all pretty old furniture and the rug is gross. We would not stay with them again simply for the money situation. It seemed scammy to me.
