Being here @ Jo J's Guest House, you can dine with Barbadian fine cuisine , private parties , banquets , and weddings are catered for . Must be discussed with Host. These are some tasty food and pastry here at Jo J's . Drinks on the house.. Rum Punch ,Rum & coke , fish cakes.
Special Breakfast , Lunch & Dinner, or Bar B-Q (Pay to order provided by Chef) The property is very safe and offer 24 hour security surveillance . Guest fails to make payment on checking you to be charged 35% fully costs on Guest House. Please see management about using hot tub.

Overnight stay

We stayed at Gail Hill for one night in transit from another island back to the US. The location is close to the airport and within walking distance to Oistins Fish Fry so we could enjoy one final night of our vacation. The location is very convenient and John was welcoming and helpful providing directions to town and ensuring the taxi arrived on time for our early pickup the next morning.

Gall Hill stay

John Durant was extremely nice, We appreciate the use of his Guest House. Our entire family bonded more and we attributed that to such a relaxed environment. We definitely had a great cultural experience.

I wouldn’t recommend if you are a group of young women

The location was advertised as being in a nice community but Gall hill is actually a dangerous area. His house is just on a decent street. Thankfully I have family that lives close. I wouldn’t want to walk to the beach alone without a guy with you as a lady. He gave us a special for breakfast and dinner everyday, but he tried not to make dinner one day. when we fixed the issue, he was rude ever since, almost rushed us out the house for checkout. He even asked the driver why he was giving us a deal which is just petty. Don’t upset him because he would be rude the rest of your trip. The beds were nice, there is no a/c in the mainroom though. The food was decent some meals better than others, and make sure that your group is sitting at the table or he would think we aren’t ready (even if you are going in and out the dining area waiting on him). Overall I wouldn’t recommend simple because of the lack of professionalism after there was an issue. I understand you have a disagreement, but as a professional you shouldn’t let that affect the rest of the guests stay, especially if the issue was giving us what we agreed to. It is still a nice place for the price just depending on the type of group you’re bringing

Two families, ten people, ten days.

Lots of beds and rooms, since the owner let us use a fifth bedroom. Suited us perfectly since we were two families (10 people including two small children). Nice with AC during the nights. With car just a few minutes to beaches, grocery shopping and restaurants. Most evenings were spent in the open dining- living room area. We had a wonderful Barbados experience!

We rented the entire home with 2 families for 9 days over New Years.

Good location with ease to shopping and roadways to the rest of the island. The home is well equipped for home cooking and comfortable accommodations. John is very helpful and accommodating. This is a very reasonably price location in a very pricey destination. Most reviews write about the difficulty in finding the location, it’s google and apples error. The location and placement on maps is incorrect. We asked a nearby resident who jumped in his car and lead us to the house. We recommend Jo J’s. Thank you John!!

I'm really a nice guy who loves to helping people any way I can . I like to motivate young men and ladies to do the right thing. I have to learn more to be the best I can. I don't drink or smoke. I prefer to drink herb tea , it's way to go . I always encourage my friends to stop drinking coffee or package tea. In Barbados we have lots of naturally grown trees such as, Bay leave , Lemon grass and Mint . I also love cooking and baking , I went to school at Hennepin Technical College in Minneapolis Minnesota , USA to Study Corporate Business & Restaurant Management , where I learn the art of cuisine and pastry. I work in "New York for some time at "Window On The World and Tavern On The Green," just to name a few.
Music is international but in the Caribbean Reggae and calypso is the thing here.
I love animals and birds . I enjoy reading books but I live reading Bible the most of all.

Jo J's Home is very central and easy to get around. You can escape the day taking a ride , 1 minute to public transportation to Bridgetown , Holetown cost 1us buck . Walking routes to Oistins , Night Life , 5 minute away to Miami Beach and 12 minutes to Sheraton Mall. Guest House is very central in nice community here in Barbados you live like the locals . PS NEED CAR TO SLIVER ROCK BEACH

You have beautiful beaches and clear blue waters here in Barbados lot's of sunshine and lovely , Beautiful people . (No extra Guest in the House after 930 PM or no sleep overnight .)
