Este é um apartamento de dois quartos situado no 3º andar de um seguro Mansion construção momentos convenientemente localizados centralmente e de Oxford Street e Tottenham Court Road.

O apartamento tem piso de madeira por toda parte, dois quartos duplos, sala de recepção (com sofá-cama), cozinha, casa de banho. Ele pode acomodar até seis pessoas e é o mais adequado no sentido de:

Appartement confortable très bien placé

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Sean qui s'est gentiment adapté à notre timing d'arrivée. Nous avons eu des explications claires, une grande disponibilité pour appréhender les particularités de la capitale. L'endroit était propre, exactement comme sur la photo, silencieux au regard de la proximité avec des lieux de vie de Londres. La localisation est parfaite pour visiter la ville, je dirais idéalement positionné. Seul bémol, les parquets et literie (un peu ancienne) bruyants. Nous avions tout le nécessaire pour le petit-déjeuner, rien à redire, à refaire absolument. Merci

Great apartment

Very nice apartment. Had no problems getting in even when we arrived later than expected. Beds were comfortable. We slept 5 without any issues. Getting around Milan was easy. Wouldn't hesitate to rebook if we came back.

Nice property, but not without flaws

The location was fantastic for our family's vacation itinerary: multiple underground lines within a few minutes walk delivered short transit times to all the central London attractions we visited, great shopping nearby on Oxford / Regent, lots of dining options and a couple grocery stores within 5-10 minute walk. The rental rate was fair and while the space was a bit tight for four, it's London after all and was very much what we expected.

That said, the property itself is not without flaws:

- it's an older building with no elevator, so this 3rd floor walk-up (ground + 3) might not be ideal for certain travelers

- the location is fairly noisy as there were a lot of groups leaving pubs late and trash collectors coming around early: the windows are old, so not a lot of soundproofing

- the bed mattresses badly need to be replaced (consider adding box springs to the combination)

- the wood floors in the hall are very squeaky, so trips to the loo in the night pretty much wake up the whole apartment

It seems like the building may be in the process of replacing it's windows (scaffolding covered the front of the building). New windows, new mattresses and some solution for the squeaky floors would push this property into 4-5 star territory... IMHO.

Great location, Roberto very nice, apartment had some issues

This apartment was in a great location and fit our needs very well. It was right next to Oxford street and an easy walk to many popular locations as well as a quick walk to the tube. I stayed there with my 11 year old daughter and my friend -both in our 40's. The apartment fit our needs very well. Had a pull out sofa bed for my daughter, and my friend and I each had our own room. Roberto welcomed us to the apartment and went over all the details and helped us with where things were and how to get there. Now for the negatives - some not the fault of the apartment, but some were. They were doing construction on the building when we stayed there, so we were woken very early in the morning by workers. On the last morning, I pulled up my shade in the bedroom because it sounded like the construction worker was in my room, and he was standing right over my window. I was very scared, not even a screen on the window, he was right there, so it did not feel very safe. However, I do not believe that is normal - but I would definitely ask if they are still doing construction if you are thinking of renting. Made me very uneasy especially with my daughter there, and she said she could just see the guys walking around the ledge of the living room all morning. Even when they were not doing construction, the sound was very loud as well, even during the night. The other issue that was not the fault of London Life apartments, but still really bothered me, was someone defecated on the front steps of the apartment outside, most likely a homeless person. Nobody cleaned it up for 3 days, until we finally said something to Roberto, and he cleaned it up. It was not a nice sight to see every time we walked back to the apartment. Other little issues were that there were 3-4 flights of stairs with no elevator or lift (I knew this ahead of time, so wasn't surprised, but made the luggage component difficult). However, on the first day, Roberto was kind enough to help carry up our luggage. Other issues, were that the wifi was so horrible we could hardly get on-line to post a picture. Sometimes it worked, but sometimes it didn't at all. He let us know that when we got there, but still very disappointed in the wifi. The last issue was a minor one-the toilet seat was broken, so it moved every time you sat on it. I still gave this 3 stars despite the issues because location was great and the apartment had what we needed and Roberto was very nice and responsive

Centrally located, A little run down

The apartment was clean and centrally located for our conference as well as trips to the British Museum, Hamleys, shopping etc. However, the apartment is older and more run down that it looks in the photos. The floor creaks, the windows rattle when the wind blows and you here every noise and conversation on the street. Sometimes it's charming (on a weekend night we were treated to a young couple's argument. "Stop being such a wanker, Steve!") but with all the construction in the neighborhood it was too loud at times. Everything in the apartment worked fine. The washing machine is a small, shared washer/dryer unit down half a flight of stairs. It's just an older rental apartment. I don't think we would stay here again.

Our home away from home!

We recently stayed in this flat and loved it. By the end of our two weeks, it was our home away from home. It is in a very central location (just a few blocks from Oxford Street), but the street itself is amazingly quiet given the noise and crowds just a few blocks away. We appreciated that the flat is in a residential building -- it was great to feel like temporary residents as opposed to tourists! :) -- we also appreciated the character of the building. As other reviewers have mentioned, the flat is at the top of several flights of stairs and there is no lift, however we appreciated the privacy and security this afforded us. The flat was nice and bright and very clean. It had a well stocked kitchen with modern appliances, which allowed us to eat several meals at home (saving money and time given the expense of dining out in London.) We also appreciated the washer and dryer and Internet connection. Finally, everything we needed was right nearby: ATM machines, grocery shops (Sainsbury's & Tesco), Tube stations, restaurants, museums, fantastic shopping and historic sights. I also have to note that the management was excellent: friendly, responsive and prompt, from the time of booking throughout our stay. We experienced a few minor quirks during our stay and Roberto addressed everything immediately. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay ... we hope to be back!
