Ca' Dei Nomboli is exactly as described and the photos represent the apartment very well. It was very clean, quiet, well lit, extremely comfortable (especially with AC/heating controls in each bedroom plus the living room), and furnished with everything a family of 4 would ever need. The central location cannot be beat, on a small quiet square, within easy walking distance to stores, shops and all of the wonderful sights Venice has to offer. The property management team was helpful, always available, punctual and competent. We could not have had a better experience than at Ca' Dei Nomboli.
The apartment was lovely - light, airy clean - very well maintained
The pictures don't even begin to do it justice. The apartment is absolutely immaculate, beautifully renovated, and in a perfect location - both convenient to everything, yet far enough way from the tourist hordes so that you feel like you are in the "real Venice". (The fact that you are overlooking a picture-perfect canal is just icing on the cake.) We felt well taken care of from the moment we arrived, checking in could not have been simpler, and everything was well-maintained and in perfect working order. If you're lucky enough that this property is available while you're in Venice, grab it!
Our family of four stayed at Ca' Dei Nomboli for five nights in early July and we were extremely satisfied with this apartment. Honestly, it has everything one could wish for. It is extremely well located right in the heart of Venice. You can pretty much walk anywhere in the city in less than 20 minutes. As well, it's located about 3 minutes from the San Toma vaporetto stop and 200 metres from a little but well stocked supermarket. There are plenty of good restaurants for dining out in the area. The area is also very quiet at night.
Besides its ideal location, the apartment was just as shown in the pictures and sparkling clean when we arrived. Both bedrooms are a good size, with lots of storage, and both bathrooms are very spacious. It was very hot during our stay in Venice and the air conditioning system worked extremely well, cooling down the apartment in a very short time. Note that if you plan on cooking your meals during your stay, the kitchen is not that large and removed from the dining room. It was not an issue for us as we ate out except for breakfast.
Finally, the whole renting process was made very easy by Views on Venice. Everyone we dealt with was very courteous, polite, and efficient. Check in and check out were a breeze, emails were answered promptly. This apartment easily ranks in the top ones we have rented over our many travels in recent year. If the price is right for you, stop looking and book Ca' Dei Nomboli. We highly recommend it.
Thanks to everyone at Views on Venice for making our stay in your city such a wonderful experience.
This apartment was very beautiful and very well organized. It's location next tot eh Ponte San Polo was picturesque. We really felt as if we were living the Venetian life! We walked all over Venice from here plus there is a gondola pick up right outside the widows that face the canal. Annalisa and Daniela were very helpful and they made the trip to Venice perfect. What a pleasure this trip was!
Ca' dei Nomboli is a wonderful home away from home in my favourite city. I've stayed in many apartments over the course of 11 visits to La Serenissima, including one with a rooftop terrace immediately behind the clock tower in Piazza San Marco, and one on the ground floor of a palace on the Grand Canal with a breath taking view opposite Salute Church, but Ca' dei Nomboli felt like home, we could so easily just move in permanently :-)
The location is great, a short walk to the S. Toma vaporetto stop [routes 1 & 2], and a well-stocked supermarket just around the corner. The apartment is very, very comfortable for 2 couples, with a spacious living area spread across lounge and dining room. The apartment is just as it is represented in the photos, clean, tidy, spacious, and welcoming. I don't plan on staying anywhere else in Venice in future…
The Views on Venice people were simply outstanding. Our arrival day was right in the middle of the French Air Traffic strike, which caused us to be late arriving, and the other couple's bags to be "lost in transit". What would have been a disastrous start to a 2 week holiday in Italy was turned around solely by Views on Venice. Instead of having to sit in the apartment (beautiful though it is) for the entire duration of our 3 days in Venice, waiting for an airline courier to deliver the lost bags (who could not give us even an idea when that would be), Views on Venice got us to use their office as the delivery point during working hours, allowing us to get out and see the sights. When the bags finally did show up, a day later and late in the evening outside Ca' dei Nomboli, we were across town enjoying a meal in Bistrot de Venise. Views on Venice found someone nearby that could accept the bags and we didn't have to spoil an otherwise delightful meal and rush back. Views on Venice were simply outstanding, going far beyond the customer service I've experienced anywhere else on my travels, in Europe, the Americas (N & S), and Australia.
