Linda casa com jardim, piscina, garagem e uma vista fantástica sobre o Mediterrâneo. Situado numa zona tranquila na encosta do lado de fora da pequena cidade de Cerbere com Boulangerie, restaurantes, etc. Abril 10 minutos a pé para a cidade e praia. Arredores agradáveis ​​e andando possibilidades em grandes áreas de vinho torná-lo maravilhoso para caminhar ou fazer o seu início da manhã "constitucional" antes de ter o pequeno-almoço no seu próprio terraço na piscina. Great House and Splendid Views

The house is located half way up on the hills of the descending Pyrenees just 5 km from the Spanish border. The hill side is called ""La Colline de Vikings" (Vikings Hill) since many of the houses are owned by Scandinavians. This villa boasts a 180° view from almost all rooms and the pool. Given its location at the slopes on the descending mountains a slight breeze of wind may occur which can develop into a storm called "Tramontane" in the area. If so, have a nice glas of Collioure or Banyuls wine.

The house itself is well furnished with everything you need and is well maintained and in good shape and order. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with fridge, dish washer, coffee machine, oven and everything else you used to from home. We also enjoyed the well thought-out floor plan. From the Master-Bedroom as well as the Bathroom you can enjoy the sunrise over the Mediterranean. The sun is shining on the Terrace and Pool until late afternoon and it is a particular joy to swim in the Pool and overlook the Mediterranean at the same time. We found the house to be very clean and the "housekeeper" greeted us in a very friendly way. showed us around and explained everything. Saturdays afternoon the Pool Keeper cleans and maintains the Swimming Pool. The "housekeeper" would have been available if necessary during the time and came at the end of our stay to see that nothing was broken and to receive back the keys to the house.

The financial arrangements were made promptly and we also received back our security deposit promptly and in full, without any discussion.

We enjoyed our vacation very thoroughly and can only congratulate Lisa Andresen on this wonderful piece of property, which we recommend to other vacationers as well.

Fantastic house, swimming pool and view !

We were a family of four and arrived Satyrday August 27, 2016 to a wonderful house in a wonderful vilage called Cerbere. When we arrived to the house, we were welcomed by a nice lady who showed us all the specialities of the clean and nice house and gave us the keys. The house has a fantastic terrace / garden with a big swimming pool and a unbelievable view of the Mediterranean. Inside, the house has everything you could expext and even much more. We spent one unforgetable week in this beautiful house with very nice weather and a lot of sun. After one week we unfortunately had to leave. The lady who met us when we arrived, came as agreed and we inspected the house together and gave her back the keys. Everything worked as expected. This have been a wonderful week, and we hope to come back also next year !

Lovely Property but spoilt by problems afterwards

Lovely property, stunning views across the Med. Clean and spacious. Good pool. One or two niggles with facilities, in that 2 of the sun loungers were already broken on arrival, there was no gas for the barbecue and it was explained by the housekeeper on arrival (owner lives elsewhere) that if we wanted gas we had to buy it ourselves in Cerbere. TV didn't work, but that was no issue because as a family we spend our time reading and absence of television is a blessing.

But, on our return, the owner has decided to retain the entirety of our deposit. The reason for this is apparently when we left the property, we did not leave the keys how we were supposed to (there were no instructions in the property) and they were unable to access the property and get it ready for the next tenants, meaning they had to employ a locksmith. Further, having gained entry to the property, the housekeeper decided we had not left it clean, and she had insufficient time to clean the property, and had to ask a friend of hers to help. We are not allowed in a review to mention amounts but the costs we are told the owner incurred for locksmith and cleaner are astonishing.

We have asked the owner for copies of invoices for these two items, and she refuses. Therefore,without providing evidence the owner has retained our substantial deposit. This cannot be right. Upon insisting that I see the receipts, she says, "I have no more to say." In earlier emails she says, "Its only a small amount of money." The deposit is to me not a small amount of money.

The housekeeper's allegations that the house was not clean and had to employ a friend of hers at a substantial cost to help clean it is very strange. We have rented many properties in our time, and my wife, who is very houseproud and fastidious in these matters, always kicks the rest of the family out of the property on the penultimate day, so she can spring clean the property. She did so in this case and she cleaned all toilets, brushed and mopped all floors, swept the patio, cleaned and disinfected all bins, cleaner the hob, and then on the final day all beds were stripped, and we inspected every room. It was immaculate. I am therefore very upset that the owner says that the housekeeper had to get another cleaner in at substantial cost.

I have to say it spoiled what had been a lovely holiday (mind you the wind can be very noisy at night). I am so upset by the attitude of the owner. I hope that legal action can be avoided.

Resposta do proprietário: First I will say that I am very glad that this family was very happy with their stay in my house. This have also been the situation of more than 50 other families rented the house before (as you can see from the Reviews they have written). The Whole problem started when this family did not follow the clear instruction they (and all other families) have got for what to do, when they should leave the house. All other families have understood and followed the very simple instructions. It is very easy, they should inform when they want to leave, go through the house With my representative and leave the key to her. That is all ! In this only case this was not done. They left the house without informing my representative (may be they did not want to review the cleaning together With her) and left the key inside the Lock of the main door. The only possibility for my representative to enter the house is therefore to break the lock and afterwards to install a new one. On a Saturday this can only be done by a specialist coming from Perpignan (25 km. away). This takes of course time. When we after many hours managed to come in, the house was not properly cleaned and in a condition it could be turned over to the next renter, who would arrive only one hour later. The total costs for breaking in, repairing the lock and making the house acceptably cleaned, was unfortunately much higher than the Security Deposit. I have therefore, due to the failures and problems caused by the above renter, to pay the difference my selves. My experience after renting out my house in several years is that all renters have been very nice and happy. Fortunately this is the only experience with a difficult and irresponsible person who is not willing to take the consequences of his own mistakes !

Good to be back

For the second time we (two families – 8 persons) rented this fantastic house in Cerbére for two weeks. We were happy to learn that the house and the outside (incl. the swimminpool) are kept in a very good condition. There is a fine kitchen where we cooked most of our meals.

The view of the Mediterranean and the mountains is a daily relaxing therapy. Visits to Céret, Carcassonne and Collioure contributed with historical and cultural experiences.

Fast and friendly response from the owner as well as from the local contact person.

We have had a fantastic stay (2 weeks) in this lovely house in a nice and quiet neighborhood in Cerbére, which is at nice little town.

There is plenty of room for two families (8 persons). The house is very functional. It has a nice big pool and a fantastic view over the Mediterranean
