Televisão é fornecido, como é banda larga sem fio para acesso à internet. Há pequena mesa de jantar com cadeiras e lençóis e toalhas, ferro e aspirador de pó são fornecidos.
Há um banheiro de bom tamanho (4. 3 sq m) com banheira / chuveiro, lavatório, vaso sanitário e extractor.
A cozinha é compacto (2 sq m), mas bem equipada com forno, fogão pequeno, geladeira, máquina de lavar, máquina de lavar louça, torradeira, cafeteira e microondas. Talheres e pratos também são fornecidos.
O acesso é por por escadas ou elevador do corredor comum.
My wife and I just spent 6 days in London seeing the sights. This is a great location. Convenient tube stop. You can easily get around all of London, and also use the excellent train service for trips to the countryside--we did Stonehenge, Bletchley Park, and Hampton Court. Kensington Palace and Park right there, (great for jogging), plenty of restaurants of all varieties, Prince Albert Hall an easy walk. Well stocked, fantastic TV. Very nice, helpful, and informative owners. Porters are a great feature.
I'm so glad I chose this place, mainly because what is described and the photos that are shown actually do match the property, which is really important when you're making a booking from half way across the globe! My son (aged 9) and I stayed there for 10 nights, in the month of January, so the heating was of course essential - I hate being cold - and there were no hassles with that, nice and warm. I'm fussy when it comes to bathrooms, especially when you're staying more than a week and I couldn't fault the bathroom at all, it was great. As already mentioned in other reviews and Malcolm's replies, there is construction going on next door but if you're out most of the day this is fine. Once that construction is finished, it literally would be the perfect place to stay in London!
We recently spent 8 days in London and this flat was perfect for our needs. Located on a quiet street but close to restaurants, pubs, and public transportation. The Knightsbridge underground station is only 2 blocks away and bus stations are very convenient. Close to Harrods, Hyde Park, and Prince Albert Memorial. The flat is perfect for 2 people. Very clean and functional. Malcolm is very accommodating and went out of his way to return an item we left behind. We highly recommend and plan to return here on our next trip to London.
So part of me is afraid to tell you about this excellent little flat, impeccably clean and comfy, and so convenient to everything in Knightsbridge (seriously, 5 minutes walk to Harrods.) Because if I do, it will probably be booked the next time I come to London. As well, it is located in a beautiful Victorian row of townhouses, so both the street and the building have unique charm. Malcolm was prompt in all of his communications with me, and his wife Negat met me and showed me the flat, explaining the details on how to run everything, and information about the local amenities, and the nearby sites to see. To top it off, they very kindly left me a welcome basket of goodies.
Some things to note: Don't be afraid that it is a basement flat, as there is lots of natural light coming from the street level window. And cosy does mean cosy--a perfect little studio for 1 or 2; guests 3 and 4 could use the sofa that converts into a bed but everyone would need to be quite disciplined about where they'd store their stuff. And currently there are building works taking place next door, but the workers don't start work until after 8 am and when I got back to the flat around 5 pm, they had gone (although one morning I did overhear quite an amusing conversation from one of the workers about his binge the night before.) And be realistic that this isn't a massive flat built upon American expectations. If you can live with those caveats, then I urge you to book this flat if you can. Only not when I want to be there, because this is now my "go-to" place when staying in London.
We loved staying in the apartment -- comfortable bed; great bathroom; very nice kitchen; and a washing machine. Great location in a quiet street between Harrods (must see food halls) and the V&A and Natural History museums. Walk to parks; tube most other places. Three convenience stores for food within two blocks. Wifi and TV work well. A big plus: only one tube ride (40 minutes) on the Picadilly line from Heathrow.
This clean, neat, quiet, and well equipped downstairs apartment is perfect for a couple visiting London. Malcolm and Negat could not have been nicer in helping with arrival information and filling us in about the neighborhood. It is in a lovely area in Knightsbridge on a dead end street which seemed very safe. There is a Mark & Spencer's just around the corner on Brompton Road that fit our needs for food and drink perfectly. Shopping is plentiful here if that is your interest. Numerous museums are nearby as well. There is construction going on next door but it did not bother us because we were up early and out sightseeing. The apartment is about two blocks from the Knightsbridge (Harrod's Entrance) Tube Station. It was perfect for our visit to London.
Situado em uma rua tranquila no centro de Knightsbridge, e uma curta caminhada da Harrods e da estação de metro (linha direta do aeroporto de Heathrow), a propriedade está idealmente situado para os teatros do West End, restaurantes e compras. South Kensington e os museus estão por perto, com o Royal Albert Hall e Hyde Park sendo adjacente. Atrações como o Palácio de Buckingham, as Casas do Parlamento e à beira do rio são facilmente acessados.
