Come enjoy the peace of the country only 10 minutes from Wimberley Town Square. As part of a 10 acre retreat, this property offers plenty of space for exploring, playing, swimming, and lounging. Eat breakfast on the screened-in porch, then lounge on floats and swim in the cooling waters of spring-fed Cypress Creek. Read a book in the hammock of our common area while the kids play on the swings. Then grill out either on the back deck or down under the tall canopy of trees at our common area.

Perfect for family getaways or a jumping off point for Wimberley swimming holes, winery tours, and Wimberley market days, this two bedroom house has plenty of space for four people with comfortable living and dining areas, a full kitchen, a screened-in porch, and a large outdoor deck.

If swimming is a priority, this is the place! We have a deep spring-fed swimming hole as well as a shallow area below the dam that is great for waders. The springs flowing from Jacob's Well are the origin of Cypress Creek and our property sits just a few hundred feet downstream.

This house sits with three others that we own and manage. Rented together, they are the perfect place for retreats with family and friends! Rented alone, this house offers plenty of privacy from the others.

Update 1/23/23
While our beloved Jacob's Well provides near continuous flow to Cypress Creek we are now susceptible to periods of decreased flow during prolonged dry spells. This can diminish water quality to the point where swimming is not recommended. Please know that we can not refund your stay based on creek conditions nor can we predict future conditions. Current drought status for Hays county can be found online and water quality information for our part of Cypress Creek can be found on the Jacob's Well website during the swimming season.

Hill Country visit

The location was convenient to Wimberley square, parks and vinyards. Felt like a step back in time. Very relaxing.

Diamond in the Rough.

I am so glad I found this spot, we loved our stay here and plan to return next year to the same spot. Our cabin was very clean and had a cold AC. It was well stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker, etc and even had items like baggies, coffee, salt and pepper, etc. we did find ourselves needing for anything. With a short walk down to the river, it was great. Nice little swimming hole at the base of the property with ice cold water. They even had floats and a kayak we could use which we did. Really loved this place! It was all adults in our group but I will be coming back with my kids and they will love it.

Sisters Trip

The house was clean but outside was not attractive. Needed mowing. Not close to town but convenient to Market Days. Beds were comfortable but furniture in living room was uncomfortable TV was difficult.

Girlfriend getaway

We enjoyed a relaxing time in Cabin A. In the mornings and evenings as we relaxed on the deck we saw deer and turkey saunter by without a care. One evening we even saw a fox walk across the property. The house was clean and when we had a problem with the Wi-fi the property manager was able to solve it quickly.

Fun house/cabins

Our family rented 3 homes, the large for a base camp, a medium for families, and the smallest for a single. All close with very short walk. Our unit was Casita A. Nice clean home, well stocked, good AC. We only had a couple of snags. A bedroom door inadvertently locked when a towel was hung on the inside knob. No key. We were locked out for several hours but went to town while mgmt. sorted it out. All power went out for all homes in our cluster but lasted only an hour. The coffee pot took one hour to perk a pot of coffee. The kitchen sink spray and both shower heads were all clogged with water calcium. We came back from town with a gallon of vinegar and fixed all, which greatly improved our enjoyment of the property, but should have been seen and fixed by mgmt. These were minor fixable issues and did not affect our enjoyment of the long weekend family fun. Proximity to the creek and wonderful outdoor decks made for fun memories for all. Our family will definitely rent again in the future.

My grandmother purchased this property in 1991 and we have used it as a family retreat since that time. We listed this property as a vacation rental in 2017 and have hosted many happy guests since then.

This is a family owned property in a truly unique location. Our guests have told us time and again that our property is like having your own private Blue Hole. We have the water from Jacob's Well without the crowds. The casita has a very unique feel with it's retro kitchen and furniture and two large outdoor living areas (deck and sceened porch) to relax in and take in the beautiful surroundings!
