Your hosts at The Garden Studio are Vicky and Bill Foulk. We are both retired, having worked professionally in education and have lived in this beautiful corner of England for some 40 years. The Garden Studio is a new venture for us although we have had much experience as hosts in our properties in Montenegro and Spain and we are looking forward to welcoming guests to our home in Teffont. We are dog lovers with two small dogs of our own. Well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional charge by prior agreement and there is an ample and secure garden for them to run around and play. There are lovely walks nearby, either along the fields behind the Studio or the Ox Drove at the top of the downland nearby. If you have any special requests regarding your stay at the Garden Studio, please contact us and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.

Beautiful and comfortable place to stay
An absolutely stunning place to stay! We were only here for 2 nights, but would happily have stayed here longer if we could.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Bill, who was very friendly and welcoming. He showed us around the studio and said if we needed anything to just knock on the back door of the cottage (the studio is located just behind their lovely home).
In the studio we were provided with eggs, milk, butter, bread, orange juice and tea/coffee. The bed was incredibly comfortable and everything was perfectly clean.
Unfortunately due to a mix up with timings from homeaway/Air bnb we ended up leaving later than the check out time (which is 10.30am, but we thought it was 11am!). Bill was incredibly understanding and very patient with us though. But if you stay here please ask Bill or Vicky what time you need to check out (They need a good few hours to clean and reset the studio due to its size).
All in all I thoroughly recommend staying here if you’d like to get away for a few nights. Also, its only 25 minutes from Salisbury, about 25 minutes from Stonehenge and about 40 minutes from new forest water park. So lots of great places to visit nearby!
Teffont lies within a Conservation Area and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within easy reach there are numerous gastro pubs, The Beckford at Fonthill, The Compasses at Chicksgrove, The Royal Oak at Swallowcliffe and the hotel/restaurant Howard’s House lies within Teffont village.
Stonehenge is just 15 minutes drive and the historic cathedral city of Salisbury is just 10 miles to the east. To the west lies the Saxon Hilltop town of Shaftesbury and Compton Abbas Airfield.
