Lovely house with some issues

Just returned from property. Design and decor are beachy and comfortable.Beds are comfortable.Kitchen well stocked to prepare meals for group or family. Plenty of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils etc. (except a pasta strainer, so we purchased one and left it) great having 2 masters one up and one down. 2 porches are comfortable. We appreciated having golf cart. Bikes were great but need TLC. (One bike had a pedal fall off as soon as we started to ride). There were beach chairs, umbrella &beach wagon (though we did not know in advance even after asking rental agency ahead of time) so we brought our own. Neighborhood is great for walking & bike riding. Pools, playground, pickleball court all an easy walk. Houses are very close together. Most appear to be rentals. So if neighboring houses play music, loud voices or are smokers, it can be uncomfortable on the porch(this happened to us) Path to beach is about 1 mile. Does not allow the golf cart so long walk with kids and beach gear but easy bike ride. Easy drive to beach but Parking at public lot is limited. BEWARE,We got a ticket for improperly parking golf cart on mulch in lot! The biggest PROBLEM with the house is the ceiling can lights fell out randomly. Upon arrival,1 can was on floor, 2nd one hanging by a wire, third can hanging by wire over shower! Fourth can fell out right next to where I was standing. Management came to fix 3 different times. No apology or concern from rental agency.

Great summer get away

It was a wonderful vacation!! House was great! Plenty of space! Golf cart was used everyday. This house was a bit farther from the beach than we were used to but with the 4 bikes and the golf cart it made it great!! Being so close to Publics was also wonderful.

Fantastic house!

Overall this house and the location was great! I was slightly reluctant to choose this house based on the neighborhood being a little bit further away from the beach than what I generally prefer, however, we found it very accessible to the beach and to the town of seaside. Once you arrive, you can pretty much drive anywhere using the golf cart. The house had lots of beach chairs and accessories in the garage for you to use along with bikes! We chose to drive the golf cart to the beach everyday and parked along the road in front of the surfing deer parking lot. We accessed the beach using the scenic 395 beach access which was very convenient and not as busy as most of the other beach access points we visited. Several days we rented beach chairs and umbrellas from Shoreline/30A. They had employees directly at the bottom of the stairs of the access point ready to take your reservation and set up your chairs. Very easy. There were always openings at this access point, and we never felt like we needed to get there too early to make sure we got a front row spot. Unfortunately, the public beach access does not have restrooms or showers to rinse the sand off of your feet, this was the only downfall. The neighborhood pool was very large And well kept. There was a zero entry pool and then a lap pool where we found mostly adults and not crowded at all. The restrooms were clean and air conditioned! We ate at the market Cafe for lunch several days, it's located right in front of the scenic 395 beach access and had very good food and more accessible than going into Seaside. There are obviously a lot of good food choices in the town of Seaside, most of them being very touristy. We loved the Great Southern Cafe for breakfast lunch or dinner! There is free golf cart parking (which we lucked out on almost every time!) Right off of 30A just passed the row of food trucks. Otherwise, if you don't find parking on the road, you are stuck downloading an app and paying for parking. Overall great house!

We liked it!

Everyone had a blast. The kids rode the bikes and golf carts (if licensed) to Seaside. The adults hung at the house and the beach. Great way to experience the Seaside community for spring break.
