We thank you for your preference to our Chalet.

We will take every possible effort for the safe stay of your family and/or friends. The entire space of the Chalet will remain closed - free of guests, for at least 72 ours between visits.

In case of emergency there are 2 major hospitals within 50 min to an hour away. There is also a smaller one in the village of Kalavryta.

We will be very happy to see you soon free of worries!

OUR PLACE

Hello! and welcome to our beautiful Chalet home! The Chalet is situated on the scenic mountain side of Klokos, right in the heart of a hilly forest and only 3,5 km from the historic and scenic town of Kalavryta. At our home you will experience exceptional privacy as well as breath taking view from each and every direction - you are on the top of a private mountain! you will be overlooking the odotos train tracks, the Vouraikos river, and will be surrounded by the mythical mountains of Helmos and Erymanthos! Perfect for hiking and exploring the forest.
The Space
The house is a Scandinavian Chalet fully made of wood - from head to toe! Its high ceilings and large windows soak the whole house with light in the daytime. At night, the fireplace and the minimal and beautiful decoration give off he warmest and coziest feeling.
The Chalet can accommodate up to 6 people. It is perfect for friends and family who are looking to explore the magnificent mother nature and the town of Kalavryta, but also for couples and fiends who are looking to sit back, relax and enjoy the Chalet life.
The Facilities
The house is 135 sq m. and is made up of three floors. It offers three large bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom is a loft with amazing view and has its own private bathroom. The two bedrooms downstairs have one large queen size bed and two single beds and share a bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped. The leaving room where the fire place has Gothic ceiling, very spacious, with huge windows and great view from every corner. There is a library with a selection of books and a work space.
There is a free WiFi and a free TV streaming service NETFLIX complementary to our guests.
Keep in mind that the Chalet is situated in an exclusive area on the mountain side, so you will not experience any noise from neighbors
or passing cars. The house proudly stands on its own overlooking all of Kalavryta.

I worked for many years in New York and the United Nations.I founded Hellenic Public Radio HPR a non for profit organization in USA. I directed two Greek American daily newspapers in New York. In Greece I was the program director of the Kokkalis Foundation and the Managing Director of AIT Athens Institute of Technology. Until recently I held the post of the Communication Advisor to the Mayor of Athens.
I love radio and being behind the mics!
I love nature, specifically the mountains, and my brother's fast boat!

The Chalet is located on the top of the hill Klokos, 1000 meters above sea level. The area is of great significance to me since my family owns the area since 1750! I grew up there and every little detail of the area sits dearly in my heart.
