The property manager was so helpful, especially when there was an unexpected power outage and water main break. She offered us an upgrade and when we decided to stay at a hotel for 1 night, refunded us for the night to offset the cost. Our dog loved running around the property! Had there have been more guests, this place would’ve probably felt more like it was supposed to (people relaxing by the pools, fire pits going, kids playing, etc.) - but due to the water main issue, everyone cancelled. We think it would be fun to come when others are there because of the environment it provides. This property is beautifully maintained and appears to have another pool being built. It is a little ways of a drive from downtown Waco, closer to 20 minutes. But it was nice to be out of the city in a pretty place while we slept. We also used the fire tables and made s’mores that the property manager provided free due to all of the water issues. We just had 1 complaint, which was about the water after it came back on from being shut off all day. It was a little brown and sputtery when we used the faucets. But we knew that could be expected after the pipe being down. Definitely a great place to stay if you want to relax and get away from the city! It’s also right in between the city and any vineyards you might want to visit, which is nice. Overall, we would come back again, knowing that we will be taken care of, have a quiet place to sleep, and something that’s not the normal hotel.
